Jewelry

I grew up with the Maasai and they instilled in me a passion for beads and adornment from a young age. Treasure hunting around the world has become a way of life for me. I used to recycle existing pieces, threading silver beads made by the Jewish jewellers from Yemen with Venetian and bohemian glass beads traded along the East African coast.

I now create new pieces with artisans on three different continents, working with methods they have been using for centuries such as the carving of cow horn or bone in Africa, the work of enamel on pink gold in Mexico, and the traditional kundan method in Jaipur. The result is an eclectic collection of irreplaceable pieces made with love and care.
